John
1:14 (NKJV) And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and
we beheld His glory, the glory as of the
only begotten of the Father, full of grace
and truth.
Can you imagine this? Can you see it? The Word of God became a human, just
like you and me. God took upon
Himself a body, a human body, born of a woman, made in the image of God. Again, amazing, but here it states just
that. Jesus became a man just like
us, and then He dwelt among us, and revealed the true nature of God.
Jesus said it like this in John 14:9
(NKJV) Jesus said to him, “Have
I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen
Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?”
When we see, in the Word, Jesus
healing, then we know that it’s
God's will that we be healed. When
we see Jesus casting out demons, then we know it’s God's will that people be set
free. When we see Jesus feeding
the multitude, then we know it’s
God’s
will to meet all of our needs.
Jesus was God the Father in the
flesh. He did all that the Father
does and He's still doing it today.
In Hebrews 13:8, it says that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today,
and forever. He doesn't change and
He sure hasn't changed just because we live in the 21st century. No, what he did when He walked the
streets of Galilee, He is doing today.
So today, don't think of Jesus as
someone who lived 2000 years ago.
See Jesus high and lifted up living with us today. See your Father God who demonstrated
His love through the life of Jesus.
Jesus said, I do nothing unless I see my Father do it, so we can have
great confidence today, that God the Father loves us and so does the Son, and
the Spirit.
Confession:
Oh how great the love of the Trinity is for me. Jesus is the same today as He was in the Bible, therefore I
know that everything is going to be OK today.
