Psalms 8:1-4 (NLTSE) O Lord, our Lord, Your majestic name fills the earth!  Your glory is higher than the heavens.  2 You have taught children and infants to tell of Your strength, silencing your enemies and all who oppose You.  3 When I look at the night sky and see the work of Your fingers– the moon and the stars You set in place– 4 what are mere mortals that You should think about them, human beings that You should care for them?

How amazing it is to look outside on a clear night and see the wonders of God our Father!  When we think that God has made all of this for us, His people, it truly is hard for our minds to comprehend.

Our Father is a God of the amazing.  All He made is over-the-top.  How easy it would have been for Him to just make enough to fill the earth, and be done.  But not our Father!  When He does something, He does it to the max! When He created this universe, He made it so large and so full that scientists still cannot see the end.  What an amazing God!  What an awesome God we serve!

Sometimes, we can feel so small when we look at the night sky and think that there are trillions upon trillions of stars and galaxies, but when we take time to truly ponder what God has made, and that He made it for us, this shows how big we really are in His sight.  What a loving Father we serve!

So today, look up and see all that your heavenly Father has done, and made, for you.  Look at the stars!  Look at the animal kingdom!  Look at the variety of plants and trees!  Look at a baby, and see Him who made it all for you and for me.  You are special to Him!  He loves you, and He has a great plan in store for your life.

Confession:  Today, I confess and believe that God, my Father, is the Creator of all things.  Thank you Father that you created me in your image.  Thank you Father that I am not just dust, but a spirit made in Your likeness.  Thank you Father that today will be a great day, because the Greater One lives inside of me!
