Haggai 2:5-9 (NKJV) “’According to the word that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, so My Spirit remains among you; do not fear!' 6 "For thus says the LORD of hosts: 'Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; 7 and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,' says the LORD of hosts. 8 'The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,' says the LORD of hosts. 9 The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,' says the LORD of hosts. 'And in this place I will give peace,' says the LORD of hosts.”

God, our Heavenly Father, is such a good God.  In these verses, He tells us not to fear, and that He will give us peace.  In these last of the last days that we are living in, God’s glory is going to shine brighter and brighter in those who stay close to Him.  He says that the glory of the latter temple will be greater than that of the former.  You might ask, “Where is this temple?”  We are the temple!  We are God’s prizes.  We are the ones that He dwells within.

In the Old Testament, the glory of God was within the temple in Jerusalem, but today His glory is within us.  He chose to dwell within every person that receives Jesus as their Lord and Savior.  Think of it.  The One who created the universe, and the One that created us, now lives within us!  Look at how it says it in 1 Corinthians 3:16-17: “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 17 If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.”

So today, do not see yourself as a nobody.  See yourself as a child of the King, and that His very Presence lives inside of you.  Yes, you are God’s temple (or dwelling place).  You have His Presence with you, no matter where you go!

CONFESSION:  I am the temple of the Holy Spirit, and God’s Presence lives within me.  Today, I choose to let His love flow through me so that I am a blessing to others.

2 Corinthians 9:6-9 (NKJV) But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. 9 As it is written: "He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever."

God, our Heavenly Father, is a Father of generosity.  He has given to us not just what we need, but an overabundance.  He has given to us so much food, so much beauty, so many stars, so many birds, and the list goes on and on.  God wants us to be a generous people.  As we let a spirit of generosity guide our life, it is truly amazing how everything comes together, and we have an overflow of abundance.

The Scripture is clear that if we hoard up and do not share, then even what we have is taken away.  But when we have a liberal spirit, a spirit that wants to help and be a blessing, then it seems to just come right back to us.  Think of it.  If a farmer says, “No, I do not want to plant.  I want to keep all of my seeds in these bags in my barn,” he will not get a harvest, and he might even lose what he has from rodents getting into the sacks.  But if this same farmer takes his seed and scatters it into the fields, look out!  His seed can multiply even a hundred-fold.

So today, have a generous spirit.  That does not mean you give all you have away.  It means that as God puts things on your heart, and as He blesses you with the means, you give!  You will see that you truly cannot out give God.  You will see the harvest come right back to you, so that you will have more.  Then you can be a continual blessing throughout life.

CONFESSION:  Today, I declare and decree that I am a generous person.  I am a person that goes out of my way to help others, and to be a blessing to those in need.

Matthew 22:35-40 (NKJV) 35 Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying, 36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” 37 Jesus said to him, “’You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 “This is the first and great commandment. 39 “And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 “On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

Love God!  It sounds easy, until we think of what that means. God tells us that if we love Him, then we will love people.  Now that is where it gets hard!  Oh, it is easy to wake up and say, “Oh Father, I love you.  I love you so much, and my life is yours.  Anything that you ask, I will do.”  Then we hear His still small voice saying, “Ok, go and love so-and-so,” and that is when the challenge begins!

You see, people are made in the image of God, but we are still living with these bodies right now.  As much as His command is to love Him, it is just as much His command to love one another. We cannot just pick and choose which scriptures we want to live by.  His Word is complete, and His Word will always give us the victory!

When we make a decision to walk the true love walk, then we will be acting like our Father.  The Bible declares that God is love.  It does not say that God uses love, but that He is love.  When we walk in love towards the unloving, we are acting just like Jesus, Who loved us even when we were still in our sins.

So today, make a decision to love those that are unloving, and to fulfill His commandment on both ends.  Make a decision to be like Jesus, and to live with an attitude that every person is special and loved by the Father.  Remember that if we do our part, God will do His.  So go ahead: Love God and Love People!

Confession:  Today, I choose to love God, and to love others. Today, I choose to get out of my comfort zone, and to be a blessing to others.  When I love others, I am truly expressing that I love God.

Psalms 20:7 (NKJV) Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the Name of the Lord our God.

Too many times, we put our trust in the arm of flesh, but God is looking for us to put our trust in Him.  It is easy to do this, because we can see people and things, but we cannot see God.  Yet the Bible, and even past experiences in our lives, proves to us that when we put our trust in the Word of the Lord, He never lets us down.

In Hebrews 13:5 it says, “…for He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’”  This verse does not say, “I will not leave you unless what you are going through is just too big for Me,” or, “I will not leave you unless you get yourself into a mess.”  No!  It says that He will not leave us or forsake us.

I do not know about you, but I have gotten myself into many jams, and if it had been left up to my ability to get out of them, it never would have worked.  But God, our Father, is full of grace and mercy.  He knows us.  When we mess up, we need to “fess up,” and He will always come through.

I think that one of the greatest things we can learn in life is that God is for us.  He is on our side, and we should be on His side.  When we make a decision to trust in the name of our God (the name of Jesus), we see great deliverance and manifestation of the answers to prayers.

So today, do not trust in the strength of man, but in the strength of our God.  Do not look to others for answers.  Look to your Father!  Ask Him, share with Him what you are going through, and watch and see Him come through.  Take some time to start developing your relationship with Him, and then when others are trusting in the arm of flesh, your trust will be in the Mighty God, your Father!

Confession:  My Father God is for me and not against me.  If He is on my side, then I know that I will get through whatever comes against me.  Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world!

Luke 7:7 (NKJV) Therefore I did not even think myself worthy to come to You. But say the Word, and my servant will be healed.

The centurion had faith in the power of the Word of Jesus.  Jesus even marveled at this Gentile who believed for healing for his servant through the Word of God.

God wants us to have this same kind of faith: a faith that will trust Him for what His Word states. As we saw yesterday, the Word of God is living and powerful, and when we say, “Father, I believe You because your Word declares it!” that faith moves mountains and removes things that have tried to harm us. Let God be true and every man a liar!

God is truth, so His Word is truth.  God cannot lie, so His Word cannot lie.  As we find the truth (which is His Word) and speak it out in faith, look out!  Mountains are coming down!  Many times, though, people do not see the situation change immediately, and they start to lose heart.  Do not give up!  The mountain will move, or will change, when you do not let go of the promise that God, your Heavenly Father, has given you through His Word.

So take some time today to find His Word on the matter that is coming against you, speak it, and then praise Him until the answer comes.  If you need healing for your body or a loved one's body, go to the treasure of the Scripture and pull out a gem, and watch the sickness disappear.  If you are in need of a financial breakthrough, go to the Bible and find out what God says on the subject, and then release the answer through your mouth.

This goes for any area of your life.  If you need peace, joy, contentment, friends, a mate, or a better lifestyle, whatever it is, as long as it is in the will of God (and we know that the will of God is His Word) then believe Him, speak His Word, give the seed time to mature, and watch it come to pass!

Confession:  The Word of God cannot change, but situations are subject to change.  Today, I make a quality decision to speak the Word, and to hold onto the promise of it, and these mountains will have to move!

Mark 11:23 (NKJV) For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, “Be removed and be cast into the sea,” and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

There are times in our lives when situations will not change until we speak to them.  We cannot just speak anything; we need to speak the Word of God.  You see, it is God’s Word that has power in it to change things.  God’s Word has the breath of God within it.  His Word is alive!  It is living and powerful.

In Hebrews 4:12 it says, "For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."

Think about that today.  God’s Word is living, powerful, and sharper than a two-edged sword.  When we lift up God’s Word and speak it through our lips in faith, mountains have to move, devils have to move, and situations that have come against us have to move.  Speaking God’s Word, not our little cute sayings, allows God to get involved in our lives and in the things that are coming against us.

As it said in Hebrews 4:12, God’s Word is alive!  Just like we are alive, His Word is alive.  His Word has His very DNA in it.  Wow!  I have read many books in my life, and some of them I have read a couple of times, but God’s Word, the Holy Scriptures, is what I feed myself with daily.

When I open the Bible and start chewing on a verse, and then it speaks to my heart, I need to speak it out loud and let faith rise big within me.  The devil has no chance against a person that gets the Word deep within them, and then lets the water flow from them to the situations of life. So today, speak His Word to your mountain!

Confession:  Today, I make a decision that when situations arise in my life, I will find the promise from the Bible, Gods Word, and speak it.  Gods Word is living, and today I let it live in me, and through me.

Isaiah 55:10-11 (NKJV) For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, 11 So shall My Word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

When God’s Word is released in our hearts, it has to produce.  His Word never returns to Him void, but it always does what it is sent out to do.  If His Word is sent out in faith for salvation, look out!  That person that you are praying for is going to have an encounter with God.  If His Word is sent out in faith for healing, then healing will manifest itself!

You might say, “How can you be so sure?”  Because it is God’s very Word, and His Word is His bond!  God is not a man that He should lie.  He gave us His Word so we can have assurance in our life.

Too many times, we lose heart when we do not see results immediately. We live in this microwave society, but the things of the kingdom work like a crock-pot: slow and steady. We need to let the seed of His Word work within our heart.  Give it time to grow to maturity.  Sometimes we are so quick to want to see the fruit, but just like a tree in the natural, it takes time for the seed to get into the soil and produce its harvest.

So do not rush the process.  Let God’s Word do the work that it was sent out to do. Keep the seed in the ground, give it water daily, and make sure it gets plenty of Sonshine.  Then watch it grow, grow, grow!  Remember that this verse said it will not return void, but it will accomplish what it has been sent to do.  That is God’s Word, and He will do it!

Confession:  Gods Word has been sent to me by my Heavenly Father, and I receive it by faith. I will let the Word grow in my heart and produce even a hundred-fold return within me. I will give His Word time to grow!

Psalms 107:20 (NKJV) He sent His Word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

When God, our Father, gave us His Word, it was to provide for all of our needs as we live our lives.  His Word provides for our spiritual needs, mental needs, and physical needs. Our God is a good God who loves His children, and He wants us to have a blessed life here on earth.

Jesus said in John 16:33, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

While we are in this world, we will have things come against us and attack us.  That is why He has given us His Word: to overcome the enemy and the attacks of life.  The armor of God is for our protection, and the sword of the Spirit is the Word of God to defeat the enemy.

God has given us an amazing arsenal of weapons to keep the devil in his place until Jesus returns.  Too many times, we do not take the time to find out what these weapons are that God has given us, and we miss out on so many of the blessings of our Father.

As we look at the subject of healing, so many people say, “Well, whatever the Father’s will is, that is what I will get.”  But we see from today’s verse that God’s will is to heal us.  He only wants the best for us, and He cares for us in each part of our being.

So today, receive His Word concerning healing, and let the Great Physician heal you. Yes, God has healed us spiritually, but He also sent His Word to heal us physically. His Word was sent to us to deliver us, and to set us free as we walk through life's journey. So never think that you are alone.  His Word is always with us to give us the victory, in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Confession:  God sent His Word to heal me. Today, I receive His full healing for my life. Today, I receive healing spiritually, mentally, and physically. The healing that He has bought for me is a complete healing.  Thank you Father for your complete work being done in me.

John 10:10 (NKJV) The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

I am always amazed at how society wants to pin all of the bad that happens on our Heavenly Father, when this scripture is so clear on who brings the evil into the world and into people's lives.  Here it states that the thief comes to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.  Well, if there is one thing that I know, it is that God is not a thief.

Our Father in heaven is the giver of life.  He is the One who walks with us and talks with us and guides us along life's ways.  He is the One who protects us and brings life, and that more abundantly.  Our Father wants the best for us, just as any good earthly father would want the best for his children.

The enemy, the devil, is the one who wants to destroy your life.  He’s the one that wants to destroy your marriage, home, health, and whatever is good in your life.  He is a thief and a destroyer, and God our Father is the giver of life.  As long as we do not get this mixed up, then we will always know where the attack is coming from.

So when we read this verse, we need to say that every time something tries to steal, or kill, or destroy, that is not our God, but satan.  Once we declare this, then victory is right around the corner!  Just like in any warfare, we need to know who our enemy is and who is on our side.  Well, let me tell you that God, your loving Father, is on your side!

So today, make a conscious decision to see where things are coming from, and place the blame where the blame is due.  Give the devil the blame that he has tried to place on God.  Then take the Word of God and keep him in his place.

Confession:  Today, I am going to place the blame where the blame is due, and the praise where the praise is due.  When something happens that is trying to steal, kill, or destroy, I will know that it is of the devil, and I will bind his works up in Jesus Name!

Isaiah 30:21 (NKJV) Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left.

The sweetest sound in the entire world is the sound of our Father’s voice.  When God, our Father, spoke in days past, things happened!  The world and the universe were created.  All of the life that crawls on the earth, under the earth, in the sky, and in the water, was created by His Word.

Hebrews 11:3 says, "By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.”

What an amazing statement!  The Creator made all that is visible by a Word!  The reason I bring this out is that He who has all this power in His voice and in His Words speaks to us!  He wants to speak with us!  He wants to share His heart, and help and guide us each and every day of our lives.  What assurance we have of our loving Father directing and guiding us, as we listen to His voice speaking to us this day.

God is not silent.  I believe that He is constantly talking to our hearts, but many times, we are just too busy to listen, and we miss out.  You know, if I have a radio but I have it on the wrong station, then no matter what I do, I am not going to hear what I want to hear, unless I take the time to adjust the station.

So many times in our lives we just need little adjustments to hear what the Father wants to say to our hearts.  I believe that if we will take the time to listen, it could save us so many heartaches that we go through.

So take some time today and listen to what He wants to say to you. Listen to that still small voice speaking to your heart.  He will never let you down.  He is always there for you!

Confession:  Today, I will listen to the voice of my Heavenly Father who will guide me to go right or to go left.  My Heavenly Father has my best interest in mind, so I can rest assured that He will guide me for good this day!

Proverbs 28:1 (NKJV) The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion.

Righteousness is a gift that has been given to us from God, our Heavenly Father, through faith in Jesus Christ our Lord.  No one can stand before God as righteous, unless he has received this free gift.  Righteousness gives us the ability to stand in the presence of a holy God with no sense of guilt or condemnation, not because of how good we are, but because of His free gift to us.

This verse tells us that the righteous are as bold as lions.  In Christ Jesus we are bold, because we know our place of authority.  We understand that in ourselves, we do not have boldness, but when we stand in His garment of righteousness, it is not us standing there, but Christ in us, the hope of glory.  When we stand against the attacks of the wicked one, and know who we are in Him (in Jesus), it gives us the assurance and confidence that we will be more then conquerors through Him that loves us.  What amazing confidence that should give us in our God!

When God, the Father, declared us righteous, that was no little feat.  Jesus Christ had to go to the cross and shed His divine blood for us so that we could have this righteousness.  This righteousness gives us the ability to enter into the Holy of Holies, a place that only the high priest in the Old Testament could enter, only once a year.

But because of Jesus, we can enter into this Holy place, anytime and anywhere!  Because of Jesus' death on the cross, He took my place, and has set me IN HIM, now!  Because of what Jesus did, God now sees me like He sees His Son: holy, blameless, and accepted!

So today, BE BOLD!  Not in yourself, but in the Greater One Who lives in you. See yourself the way the Father sees you.  Do not listen to the lies of the enemy.  Let God's Word be true, and do not worry about what anyone else says or thinks.

Confession: Today, at this very moment, I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, so I am as bold as a lion.  I am bold to stand against the enemy’s temptations and trials. Today, I am more than a conqueror through Him that loves me!

Hebrews 4:12 (NLTSE) For the Word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.

God's Word is alive!  It has God's very life and ability within it. Just as people are alive, and animals are alive, and plants are alive, so God’s Word is alive. The difference is that God’s Word has the Creator of all these other things within it. It is full of power to set us free, to heal us, and to deliver us. His Word created the very ground that we are standing on, and the air that we are breathing. His Word is Himself.

So, no matter what comes at us in life, it is His Word that has the power to release us from every situation. If God has declared it, then it has to happen.  You see, God and His Word are one.  If God’s Word does not work, then God does not work.  But God’s Word does work, as we work the Word.

Faith is what activates God's Word, and as we take His Word and get it deep within our hearts, and then speak it with our mouths, it will come to pass.  God is not a man that He should lie.  If He said it, then He meant it.  Think of it like this: The Bible has the very DNA of God within its pages.  It is just like if I blow up a balloon, it has my DNA within it.  So it is with the Bible.  God has breathed Himself right into those pages that we hold in our hands.

So today, make a decision never to look at the Bible as just a book, but look at it as if it were God the Creator standing right there and saying, “If I wrote it in there, you can have it!  Just believe it and say it with your mouth!”  Truly, our prayer life would never be the same if we did.

Confession:  God’s Word is God’s very Word.  What the Bible says is God speaking right to me.  His Word is powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword.  Today, as I put His Word into my heart, it will change the circumstances around me.  God’s Word is life, and I will feast on it this day.
